I am travelling to Pune this week, and was looking at listings on AirBnB. Surprisingly, I came across this post:
“「ホームステイ」@インド人宅。日本語Ok!(For Japanese Nationals only)”
I am really surprised AirBnB allowed this listing. How did the host get away with it? I’ve reported this listing, and 24 hours later, there is no action.
Here’s the link:
「ホームステイ」＠インド人宅。日本語Ok！(For Japanese Nationals only) - Houses for Rent in Pune, Maharashtra, India
Oct 09, 2017 - Entire home/apt for $30. Homestay for Japanese Nationals only （日本人お客様向けのみ）。 本場のインド文化を味わえるとても快適なホームステイ環境…
By the way, AirBnB does not accept Aadhaar as a form of ID, while their website says any Government issued ID will do. Looks like they are not walking the talk…
